Hall of Fame Award
Nominees are individuals who have given outstanding service to WSTA and the telecommunications industry in Wisconsin. Candidates will have given a significant contribution that was of benefit to the industry rather than a single-company. Candidates will have made career contributions that benefitted the telecommunications industry in specific areas such as civic activities, military activities, non-business directorships, non-business Trusteeships, philanthropic activities, political activities and other affiliates. Candidates must have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, i.e. WSTA Committee participation, WSTA Committee leadership, WSTA Board of Directors, WSTA Past President, Ad-hoc industry committee participation, Representing Industry on State Government Committees/Task Forces (e.g., Rural Broadband Legislative Study Committee, Universal Service Fund Council, Governor’s Task Force on Broadband, their work quality must have been consistently high and their time will have been freely given.
Lifetime Achievement Award
Nominees are individuals who have given outstanding service to WSTA and the telecommunications industry in Wisconsin. Candidates will have made career contributions that benefitted the telecommunications industry in specific areas such as education, legislative, regulatory, operations, plant, etc. Candidates must have demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities, their work quality must have been consistently high and their time will have been freely given.
